These poor plants didn't get much time to get established before my wife mauled them to get a shiso fix and it may have shocked them into bolting to seed.....

I've planted a whole bunch more on the 13th of September 2009 just in case.

All of the seeds planted on 19 September failed to germinate for some reason.... I did manage to collect a bunch of seeds from those plants that bolted which I have now planted. Strangely the seeds collected below were more than twice the size of the 4 Seasons Seeds that I purchased...?

The main plant that can be seen above is doing ok but started to shade out some of the other plants, so I moved the best two plants into their own containers.

These are just starting to get to the stage where I feel comfortable to pick a few leaves.
